In my room, on the bed with a laptop on my lap. Queens of the Stone Age is playing on my kick-ass stereo system and I'm eating leftover Blackout Cake. Delicious, delicious Blackout Cake. My mind is sedated, the day has been spent doing nothing in particular -- my favourite past time.
It's the day after a new RSGC Clan tradition: XMOOSE. Every 23rd now we celebrate with those we love. Take pictures and be merry. Next year it'll be held at another house. Maybe at Dee's so that we can have some vino and other happydrinkies. What I'd like to take to XMOOSE next year would be a significant other.
I've realised that I've gone back to hanging out with the people I hung out with as a child. They're comfortingly familiar, have no hang-ups and are pretty much on the same wavelength. Another thing I've realised is that it may possibly be an end of an era for the TTDI Clan. Grass of Patch will no longer be something to look forward to for New Year's Eve. Sure, we'll meet up and hang around once in a while but it's not something common anymore. Not that I won't want it to be but with most of them working, it's hard to find the time to stay up until ridiculous hours. Weekends are the only option and with my wide circle, care is taken to meet up and hang out with a majority of them. I'm not a social butterfly, I just like keeping in contact with people.
Happy Christmas to everyone, celebrating it or not, I wish you a Joyous family gathering and new year.
