Spores near the motherland-foot thing

As some of you may have known, I went to Singapore over the weekend to buy shoes and meet up with my 2 favourite boys in Spore-land, Ems and Bear.



I have just one thing to point out:

Singapore makes me lose my appetite...

Seriously! The food is below my standards and my standards are very high.

I was there with the maternal unit, Naf, Aunt and Eun Ji.

Stayed in the Royal Plaza on Scotts Road which was exquisite.

Couldn't for the life of me remember the name of the place I spent all that money on shoes and I did lovelingly call it Harakiri first before throwing in random Japanese words.

Spent a whole night awake at the hotel lobby talking and laughing with Ems then had breakfast.

Was introduced to the despair which is the malay society in Singapore and realised how lucky I really am by being Malaysian.

Laughed at the concept of female fixated with white males just because it's a status.

Overall, I enjoyed my time spent with my boys and my sister.

Almost all the bajus have been sorted out, colour combination tepat sekali!
I have my OCD pouch packed so all the moneys and travel documentations won't get lost... No, it's not really called an OCD pouch.

I still want to dye my hair highlighter blue. Just you wait.

Leeturt is leaving n he 24th for what could be like forever so on Tuesday, instead of the usual lettuce and kibbles, he gets an upgrade to lunch at Ma Maison and if I'm buggered enough about it will give him cupcakes.
Min will return to the land of the civil on Tuesday and will have to get together for some trip discussions and buying of random trippy shit with May.
I wonder if Kim and I are still on for that shopping thing on Tuesday post-noon but I'm reeling towards the non-spending because alot has gone to the Krabi trip as it is. KLEPET!
Michelle returns to the tanahair on the 23rd, plus Mo, will have a bare all coffee session as the intro to the summer vacations.
Jess'll be back soonish and her party will be an epic blast as usual.
My dear brother, Ariff, has his birthday on the 18th. Wish him if you must. You may punch him 13 times... plus 2 if he flinches.

I'm going to some Options Trading seminar in July and it's running from the 11th to the 14th which means I must reschedule 1) the open water cert and 2) the Perhentian Trip. Abit the babi.

This means that I have to talk to Leslie bout the any other open water trips available, reschedule the Perhents trip back to the 14th (leaving that night) and using the trip solely for snorkelling and berbonding. It's not as bad as I'm taking it to be but I do still have to tell the rest of the kids...

Oh, by the by, should I jump into Business as a degree? Only since Law is too exam oriented for me. Bastard exam boards.

In other news:
I need a backup plan in case this Law thing doesn't work (I hate Contract Law). Ideas include Walton International. My grand scheme was always the Cafe I've been planning for since Year 9 all I need was the capital and so I thought being a legal shark could help rake in the money. Yes, law was only a means to an end and not an end in itself. LAUGH IT UP LORD SCARMAN.

Main attraction:
Rakyat (citizens) should see the increasing petrol prices as an eventuality not as a way for the gahmen (government) to piss them off.

Gahmen should use petrol price increase (and the decrease of subsidies) to implement new transportation methods such as doing up the godawful LRT (hello, buy more trains la...), constructing pavements to allow people to walk on it (not to prevent motorcyclist from using it as an extra lane which brings me to banning kapchai motorbikes but that's for another story) and making more reliable bus routes (because we all know how the rakyat can't stand tardy busses).

Gahmen should also invest in finding out the market for vehicles that don't run on petrol. Make's life alot easier if we did have some of those (which includes electrics and hybrids).

Gahmen should make kapchai motorbikes illegal because they are an annoyance to the majority of the rakyat. Rakyat hates rempits with a passion.

It's pagi and time for me to refine the Prologue and Chapter 1 of 'You' and e-mail it for T's consideration.
I have no driver today which means no going out.
Booo...

I want blue hair dye. Like, highlighter blue tau. I know where to get it but I'm being super malas. Also the place is in Sungei Wang and I dislike that place irreverently.

I got my PADI pack today from Discover Scuba.
I hate One Utama with a passion.
I think I need to get maps for every mall there is in Malaysia for easy reference.

Anyway, I start my pool dives next week, keeping my fingers crossed cos this week the instructor and his friend will be diving god knows where. I'll be spending money on a wetsuit so I don't freeze to death in the water, not that it's cold or anything but hey, safety first.

Will be reading the book and watching the video today to get a hold of everything.

Oh, and I need to figure out where my fins, snorkel and mask are. Taboley dive without them. Core stuff, that.

Day 6 was completely disregarded for dinner.

Day 7, it is now 11:30am.
Being female during the monthlies sucks madness. Everything hurts, you get cravings and worst of all... You're on the diet. Bummer. Also, you're tired to no end.

I will have for lunch a fruit smoothie. and for dinner a salad. or a Gazpacho... or maybe I'll make the Gazpacho for the whole day. It 's no fuss cold soup after all...

Shopping updates:

I bought a new bikini at Parkson.
I did not go to Bijou jumble sale thingy in Bangsar.
I won't be going to the SPCA Jumble sale.

To Do in the course of next week:

• See GP for letter to allow me to dive
• Pay for diving course at One Utama
• Get my sleeping patterns away from the monthlies/weekend time and back to 8am.
