I remember telling a friend of mine who had recently gotten engaged that whoever had been invited, she only needed to worry about the immediate family because as luck would have it, you only saw the rest about once a year.

The in-laws are always another hurdle. There's always SOME problems when it comes to the in-laws. They may like you, they may not like you and so on and so forth.
