Since I have a little bit of time to breathe -- and by a little bit, I mean I spent the whole day (since 9:30AM) wasting time and watching anime -- I think it's a good time as any to tell you about my new place!

Wooden floors, an outdoor deck, a sizable kitchen with SO MUCH STORAGE SPACE OMG! It's a little bit outside the city, kind of like the quiet Old Ampang area with lots of small shops and stuff. I like it. :3 Also, it doesn't come fully furnished so I can have a small bed and giant working tables instead of occupying the space in the living area and making a mess. I'm also doing up the decking as a reading nook and BBQ area for those lovely, warm days, no matter how infrequent they are. Might clean all the rubble from it since it's messy with leaves but I'm already thinking of the furniture placement within the space with a dedicated corner for the TV and PS3.

AND I won't be spending that much on the rent (compared to my current place). two minutes from a train station and a Woollies just at the corner. NAISE.

WOODEN FLOORS OMG.

But the bathroom has a step up at the shower so I need to make little steps to make it easier for me to go up and down. The step-up for the shower is bizarre...

Alright, now back to bizness.

Uni is on its final two weeks, I have a tech folio and a studio folio due ASAP because I'd rather spend my time moving and loafing around because my brain has clocked in to holiday mode and I can't stop it. There's waaaaaaaaaaay too many things going on over summer break.

To do:

- Studio folio
   -- Base plan
   -- Sourcing materials
-- designing adequate things to project, making 'film' from scratch. This is going to be fuuuuuuun...
-- designing the booklet that goes with the whole box projector
-- MOST IMPORTANTLY wtf does it all mean?? (Tie in to Projects 1 and 2, as well as most written docs)

- Tech folio
-- 3D: Mezz, Living/Kitchen/Dining, Decking, Bathroom to WIW, WIW to Bedroom, look from decking/backyard to inside of the house through the sliding doors (I can definitely split this up into two seperate spaces)
-- All 2D cad (especially the detailing)
-- specification sheets: materials only, no furniture
   -- table of contents

Doesn't look like much does it? Well, it is a decent amount of work to be completed within this week starting with the Studio folio. Tech's due on the 7th, thank goodness. AND it means there should be free space in the uni comp labs for me to occupy three or four computers to do super wonderful renders. YUSH!

My cat is going to pass away soon. at 14 years old.
He has feline AIDS and leukemia and there's no way to stop it.
I guess this is what happens when you're king of the hill for so long.

You had a good run, you fat, furry, adorable creature.
If I don't see you and give you a big squeeze before you pass on,
Know that you are the best cat in the world.

WE GOT THE HOUUUUUUUUUUSE! :D

Much excitement! MUCH MUCH EXCITEMENT!

And the big burly tattoo'd fella playing the teenie tiny violin? viola? makes me smile.

Gila comel.
I really can't tell if it's a violin or viola, the fella is a giant! XD
Is he Will Holland? I'm not sure.

I have to do up all the paperwork and email them. Aaaaaaaaaaa...

Right,
To-do:

- Glue gun the frames
- Make the backing for the mirrors to be stuck on
- Fishing wire to be arranged like the lines in the dreamcatchers
- Glue the mirror on
- Make it pretty
- Do up the Sketchbook with drawings, small CAD print-outs, photos etc.
- Do CAD drawings and sketches of it

- Rewire the mat, making sure the wires are at a good enough length from the main board
- Make the pressure pads at 40x40mm
- Images of spaces to be photoshopped, printed on paper, laminated

- Buy gluegun gluesticks... Apparently harder than expected.

Done:
Booked appropriate things from the Tech people for Friday 10AM, returned before 4:30PM

50/50 chance in getting the house. Very eksait...
Oh my god I need to sleep. So. Very. Tired!

Here's a fun project to do to hide shit you don't want people to read. :D

Cut mirror
Arrange and glue frames together, might saw it into weird shapes, it depends...
Start playing with the string things and how to get it with the frame so it looks AWESOME.

And that's how Make will be completed before Hand-up next week.
XD
I am also hungry.

Moving of stuff to new house/apartment means I need to find the new house or apartment first.

Cost of monthly Myki... "A 30-day Zone 1 myki pass is $120.60 full fare, $60.30 concession." according to their Twitter reply. Bless Twitter.
Budget for apartment... $350/week maximum.
Moving in with Greta
Doesn't have to be furnished, got a tonne of stuff currently that can be used already.

Gotta learn how to do my taxes so I can get all my taxed money back... I have loads in there that's not supposed to be there. :|

Need to kira duit for household things. haahahahah so many things to procrastinate with.
And do up the kiraduits for the Studio project.

And write down my TFN... I keep forgetting it.

Also, CAD's open. Staring at CADfiles.

Meeting in an hour... -_______-
Meetings with the RUMA exco further affirms my contentment with being on the sidelines in the 'west wing' of an organisation. I'd rather watch and when things go wrong, as they normally do, step up and say a few things before retreating back. I like being Jiminy Cricket.

Aaaaaaaaand it's laundry time... eventually... :|
