I have succumbed to some kind of "I-miss-the-beach" flu.
Which is actually the "I-wish-people-would-leave-me-alone" flue...
Which is actually another type of flu I'm not admitting to.
Yeah!

Classes start in a few days and I'm quite pissed that I might have to do an extra term for elective. There's going to be a mighty terrific row if I see the idiotic Bala and his inability to make a proper schedule. I'm supposed to go to either Melbourne or Sydney next year in February damnit!

I forgot to add that I want to have travelled the whole of Malaysia before I reach 30. What's the point of being worldly when you don't know anything about your place of origin? Kan?

I am back!

It's the day after the trip and I'm still feeling very lazy. Island mode is still on which is okay because Bali is a month away!

4 days and 3 nights at Salang Beach on Tioman Island.

Our itinerary:

Day 0 and Day 1:

Left KL at 11.45 on Wednesday night, took a looooooong drive all the way to Mersing Jetty. Picked up our return tickets at 6:30AM from Kak Tee who works at the jetty. We were supposed to leave the jetty at 7AM but ended up leaving at 8-something AM instead. Malaysian timing... Go figure. Arrived at around 10-ish AM and it felt like it was already past noon. :(

A very long day.

I thought that I was just going to sunbathe but ended up snorkelling anyway.

Day 2:

paid a hundred bucks for a full day of snorkelling. Went on the 'Round Island' trip but skipped Juara Beach, the Waterfall place and Paya which meant we didn't eat lunch. Bought some stuff from Tekek's duty-free shop.

We opened bottles after dinner and played drinking games while watching the football match. I forgot who were playing. May, Ikhsan and Sarah tipsy/drunk... Hilarity ensues.

Celebrated Khalil turning 23 with a Banana Pancake covered in chocolate.

Accident tally for that day:

• Sarah barfed after drinking several Bacardi Apple on the rocks.
• Danny got leg cramps
• Khalil was pelted by eggs, brke his giant lighter accidentally and walked into a low hanging roof.
• Tipsy/Drunk May, Ikhsan and Sarah.

Day 3: 

Lazing about. Attempted to get to shark point by snorkelling in a group but we lost Danny halfway and tracked back to the beach. Sad.

Watched the game between Uruguay (pronounced you-arr-gay) and Korea (pronounced hee-yoon-dai).

Amal was attacked by a speeding bicyclist with a baby and no brakes so we took care of her before we went to finish up yesterday's bottles. Watched Ikhsan, May and Junee go out of their mind. Hung out with everyone til the wee hours of the morning.

Accident tally for that day:

• I fell off my wheelchair, faceplanted and skinned my elbow and my knee.
• Khalil got his land-legs, felt like shit and barfed.
• Amal was sucker punched below the naval by a speeding idiot on a bike with a baby and no brakes.
• Tipsy/Drunk May, Ikhsan and Junee.

Day 4: 

Sara and I overslept while the rest went snorkelling/attempted to catch fish -- and failed.

We left Salang at 3-ish, got trapped in a storm and arrived  back in Mersing at 6-ish.

Made a relaxed journey back to kl, reaching home at 12.

Accident tally for that day:

• Junee had nausea and barfed.
• Adzeem decided to jump a creek and sprained his ankle.

You get what you pay for in terms of services. Ha-ha. The toilets were nastyness ke tahap karma.

The food sucked everywhere except for the restaurant at Salang Pusaka. We should have stayed there or Salang Sayang instead. Oh, and don't go to Salang Dream Restaurant. The food and the service is horrific!

Names coined:

- Dugong + Jellyfish = Dongfish (Me)

- Chesticles = Ikhsan

- Maysquito  = May Lee

- Juju-On = Junee

- Iqmal because people cant be arsed to remember Amal

- Sam because saying 'Sarah' is REALLY hard if you're from Salang.

I be in the midst of working on a funky new blogskin.

Also, I need to start working on the portfolio really quick so I can send it in beginning of the new term... ha ha... I know, it should have been handed in last week. Shut up.

Also, finished 4 seasons of QI, I think all of the Invader Zim episodes and currently watching Avatar: The Last Air Bender, (Legend of Ang). I loooooove Nickelodeon crap.

Things I've learnt about myself:
- I have permanent single person behaviour and I don't think I can ever get out of it... Not that I want to. It's waaaaaaay to comfortable. Will expand on later post... maybe tomorrow?

My Sejarah paper got postponed to Monday 10am.
So... I'll study on Sunday before I go to bed. Ha-ha.

Working for M'busu for monies over the weekend so that I don't become broke in Tioman. Yesh :D

How come a lot of people think I can't swim?

I'm very, very, very annoyed!

I want a stupid water heater attached to my bath spout so that I don't have to wait for the retarded giant water tank UPSTAIRS -- with the on/off switch UPSTAIRS which I have to get someone to turn on for me which is annoying in itself -- to heat up.

I don't want to wake up in the morning because there's nothing I WANT to be doing.
AND I don't want to sit in the kitchen with my parents (mother) because of the inevitable nagging.

How much is a little power heater that sticks to the wall of your bathroom?
How much is a daily maid that comes to your house in the morning and leaves at night?

I need to get out of the house, man.

What's the total cost of living alone comfortably nowadays?

It's morning, I haven't showered and I should because I have to hand up my work and bugger off never to be seen again until next term!

Which is just 2 weeks away but whatever lar.

Jason asked me if I was ready for Grad Night I gave this confused expression saying that I had another term and he goes, yeah next term is your grad night. Internal panic ensues.

But, and hopefully, if I follow my scheduled tasks I would finish all my work well before the dateline and I can go plan for TIOMANNNN..........!

You know the big question where if one had a magical mono-buttoned remote control, would they pick "instant-replay" or "fast-forward"? Why the heck would you make a one buttoned remote control? Even my gate remote has four. Cod knows why.

Anyway, I've always picked the "Instant-replay" option because let's admit it, we all wan't to experience the funny moments over and over again until it's firmly imprinted in our brain for ever and ever amen. Yes, even that time I fell off my wheelchair from a 55 degree incline thanks to my brother. In hindsight, it was really funny.

Why not the other button? Well, life is a journey. If you didn't go through the bad parts of life you wouldn't even realise it if you were chest-deep in the good parts.

Also, time is such an important factor of life. You never have enough time so why fast-farward whatever you have? 

Oh, I feel like I'm getting strongerrrrr....

It's almost tomorrow whereby I have to wake up early for 9am class.

Finished some work but still have got 5 more assignments to do, all tightly scheduled.

Oh, and I didn't ride the bike today because I don't like chafing my rather well endowed bottom.
There we have it, the truth.
But I did succeed in eating vegebabbles for dinner and now I'm hungry and off to bed.

SG-2000 Progress Report: Week 16

Week 16 (25MAY2010)

I had updates but now I had forgotten what it was
- Found a new position for the tub. It's kid of like the just hanging out in the water belly down and feet up in the air.
- I'm feeling more energetic even if I almost got sick yesterday. Also, I couldn't sleep properly.
- Walking around a lot faster now but tiring at the same amount of time. It's sad, still.

But, hey, I'm improving!
