Enter my deep desire to go out with a guy who plays bass guitar... Just think about the bass guitar for a moment. Deep, dark, tuned to thrill... Hahaha... As with the guy playing it... depends... He could be a psycho-maniac with a tendency to shrill or Mr. tall-dark-and-handsome waiting to explore and thrill... I think, The latter full of yummy-tasty-goodness... GRRR.
Point being?
Well so far, i've been conducting a little look-around on bass gutarists and they're almost all the same species of male... Although most GUITARISTS are but point notwithstanding. Deep, Dark, almost always brooding, not very chatty, laid back, sarcastic, strong and always thinking about something... What i can't put a finger on. Wish i could though... Explore the male brain with a ice cream and some chocolate sauce. Hahaha... shhhhhh!
Guitarists are a sexy lot of instrument wielding people. Although the axe may play a part in the role. And possibly because most lead guitarists are also the vocals of a band... Sometimes you dont want to hear what the vocals have to say. It's all about the guitar riffs ,the menacing purr of the bass and the manic adrenaline of the drums. The vocals mostly have no say in Metal and Hard Rock bands, all they do is scream/shriek/yell alhough not necessarily in that order.
Here's a term describing the sound of a bass guitar... "a low growl"... sexy. I love the bass guitar and i would most definitely love the guy playing it.
