On a different topic, let's talk about medical sciences. I have just found out this morning that Clinical trials for a drug that can help kids with SMA started phase 1 early this year. YES FOR SCIENCE! But I don't know how long it takes for clinical trials to go through all its phases and get to worldwide sale and use as treatment. I am extremely excited at the fact that I might one day run, jump, play laser tag, cook without help in the kitchen, CARRY MY DAMN (future) SPAWNLINGS, go hiking and spelunking and surf. I AM SO EXCITED!
