Talk to barista to ask about previous barista, find out previous barista is married, therefore unhittable. Change plan to barista being spoken to, find out he has a girlfriend. CHANGE PLAN. Say I'm new and would like to expand the network. Saved.

Hit on The Cheese Guy next time I buy cheese... Which I have to for tapas night.

Which brings me to the trainee at Officeworks QV who narrates everything he does because he doesn't really know where and what everything is. Quite cute sebab suara dia lawa and dia cakap lebih pagi pagi buta. Couldn't be bothered to get his name cos I go to officeworks all the time. Kalau dia tak ingat scootergirl, dia fail.

Aaaaaaaaaanyway,
The Lemming Theory Project persists and is on the final stage of production. In less than two weeks will be the Design Proposal Presentation in front of a panel of four plus possibly a horde of second and third year students potentially giggling at the noobie-oobies, i.e.: Me.

There was a mock presentation last Tuesday which I was mildly prepared for as usual and I arrived well before my stipulated time which meant that I had the chance to observe other mock presentations as well but the horror of horrors happened after I came back from an unhealthy lunch at the 'mamak'. Mee goreng, definitely not something you want to consume before a presentation less your brain goes to mush, which my brain definitely did. The part of my brain where speech and words intermingled went on a meltdown and when I opened my mouth I sounded like a 5th grade child trying to explain quantum mechanics in Swahili. But my superior slides made up for it and they partly understood where I was getting at and I apologised for the mush-brain phenomenon. The point for the whole shindig was to shoot out questions and opinions on how to make better the presentation, verbal incoherence aside, and that was executed without a hitch. I now know what I'll be doing and what I'll be leading them through. Oh, and I need to work on the elevator pitch because mine was ghastly and too verbose. For shame, Sha, For shame.

Tonight's dinner is poached salmon salad with blue cheese dressing and for tea, the last bit of tiramisu I made yesterday which was consumed in fervour by four other people. I haven't even touched it yet. Sadness.

I might get my internet soon! Yay! Which means I can get back to being a computer bum, Yay! All the joyous things on the interfarts I can soon grasp, the meandering in technospace and discovery of previously discovered things posted by other people, me, not being bored at home. Oh, yeah, and skype sessions with the lovelies. XD

By the way, I need a new camera, preferably a small DSLR. My lecturer commented on phone camera shots being... horrid... so I hae to get a proper camera that takes nice pictures and isn't too heavy... Oh, and is affordable.
