As usual, i woke up this morning, looked into the mirror, even though the world was still hazy and undecided and walked into the bathroom to take a shower. I brushed my teeth, washed my face, inserted a pair of contact lenses into my eyes and blinked twice. I'm amazed at my everyday non-thinking everyday routine got dressed and drove to college.
Upon enetering, i cursed myself for forgetting my chemistry assignment. Just then i heard my brothers voice... adrian? what the hell is he doing here?
"Hey sis, aintchu gonna go to school yet?" I heard him say as reality snapped back. i found myself at the front door of my house. I mean, that was wierd so for good measure, i checked my stuff for my chemistry assignment. There it was, in my bag staring at me ominously. I shrugged my shoulders and left. Again.
I drove while my stereo system blasted Chevelle's Vitamin R. Rock on! I thought as i reached the college gates. I waved at the security guard and drove in. I walked into the lift, got off and waited for Michelle. As usual, 10 minutes after, her face popped out of the elevator. She saw my non-confirmist morning face and shrugged.
"Oh, look! It's the sunshine lady! So how are we today?" her voice perked up. I mumbled some obscene comment about the weather and we walked towards class. She stopped.
"You look different. Coloured contacts right?" she asked nonchalantly
"No, what do you mean coloured? Why should i spend on brown contacts when my eyes are brown in the first place," I grumbled.
"You're kidding right? I mean, seriously, tell that to your grey right eye!" She smirked.
"Seriously Chelle, go prank someone else," I snickered. She pulled out her compact mirror, shoved it in my face and her face somewhat distrought.
"Look Vena, it's true!" She said slowly as my eyes widened.
"Cool!" Was all i could say as i wondered what the hell was gpoing on in this bloody universe.
