Taken from my Livejournal sekret blog to confirm that I can be too funny (to myself):
__________________________________
I have a panel in my head much like the UN or the senate... or the board of executives.

They have arguments over such executive decisions as 'Pee now or pee later?' and 'Cake?'

Well for a few weeks now This argument has been discussed copious amounts of times. It's at the top of the agenda pile and is summarised as 'To exercise?'

The real answer is 'Yes,' but obviously the motion is bombarded by 'but's and if making excuses to not exercise was an Olympic sport it would be a huge irony and I would've won the gold medal... thrice... on the same day.

My biggest excuse is that the stationary bicycle is the devil and I'd rather spend some money on a treadmill, a top of the line one.

Things I have learnt about myself (but never managed to compile):
- I HATE wet toilets and bathrooms.

Things I have to do today:
- Go open savings account in bank and transfer money to tunemoney.
- Read book (will start soon)
- Package chocolates to give to grandmum and aunts for taste test (forgot)
- Go to grandmums house with materials for Spaydrotherapy Machine (ended up just going for dinner)
- Do Urgent Evoke task 2, or at least think about it very carefully. (Finished all the quests instead)

SG-2000 Progress Report: Week 7

Week 7 (30MARCH2010):

  • Che' Lang and Long Lin, my aunts, mentioned that my face has less acne and I look like I've lost a bit of weight
  • Realised that the fat deposits on my ribcage seems slightly decreased
  • Back pain returns but on the other side, right, this time.
  • Back pain on left side appears sporadically
  • No lethargy yet as PMS symptom

No vids
Hazelnut Truffles,

... DONE!

And they taste GOOOOOOORGEOUUUUSSSSSSSSSSSS... OMG WIN!
(If you have more than one you'll die from a chocolate overdose, sumpah kodok)
(also, they have gotten the nickname Taik Kambing from me because they look like taik kambing)

Next, send email to Jules (actually send her a text) and read the Tom Holt book. Stop being on the computer.
Oh, yeah, and I picked Scarpetta by Patricia Cornwell for my next reading endeavour.

Monday, March 29, 2010

Things to do during holiday:
- Make chocolate truffles
- Finish Tom Holt book
- Start another book -- Scarpetta
- Make chilli con carne again and tacos!
- make bread and butter pudding for grandmum
- Design oasis poolside for secret project 1.

So time is occupied in the most awesome ways?
Yes.
Playing 'Urgent Evoke' as a method to exercise my thinking outside the box.
It's basically an online community gaming thingy which asks you how to save the world.
The year is 2019 and the world is going to hell in a giftbasket and it's your duty to stop it by coming up with innovative ideas to solve world problems like famine, water shortages and disease.

Here's my first entry as proof that I've learnt something, it's called 'Think Big.":

Think creatively: start big, use constraints as a filter and find the simplest solutions.

I had always been awestruck by how some people can manage to come up with the most supreme idea and produce it in such a way that it's cost effective and just plain works. My ideas have been, by far, off the wall and nigh unattainable because it just has too many real world constraints.

Naysayers tend to get the better of me thus preventing a potentially good idea from flourishing and reaching its intended audience. This is mainly because I forget that to think big is just a one of the key components out of a two part recipe. Filter, as Paul Polak so put, comes after the infinite magnitude of the idea. Filtering takes away the unnecessary bits, eliminating redundancies and what you're left with is the essence of the idea and a base platform to rebuild with the constraints in mind.

Cost, distribution, public awareness, public acceptance. These are some of the constraints that are feasible. We're not doing magic. We're making the world the eventual Utopia of sorts. So think big!

So yeah, here I be, waiting for my team-members to CC to me a copy of the research findings so I can finally finish the stupid report because my email hasn't received it... at all! I don't understand... :(

Edit: I sent her my part because I need to go to sleep -- I lied. I should go to sleep. I have to be up at 7AM. But. I just don't want to yet.

Earth hour and my laptop is still on because I'm running Maxwell renderer and it'll take approximately two days before the render stops being grainy. I also have the serious munchies.

But that's not the point of this post. The point of this post is to tell you, the general public, that my birthday is upon us. Yes, it has been a year since the last food-fest. So, food contents for that day is now open for discussion. "No presents, only money," will be the theme of the day since you're all just pretty much sharing a giant birthday present, i.e.: HTC Touch Pro 2, The thing I have on one of my pages of the "WANT!" book. Yes, the want book is finally working.

On a different note, I have to reciprocate Jose's gifts to me from Spain but I really don't know what to send there. Alls I know is that he is a techie who travels. Surely there must be something that he wants or needs from dear old Malaysia...

The week-long holiday is in and I have me some plans to keep me occupied and not going insane. Oh, what did I get up to for that 6-month break between my O's and my A's?? Oh, yeah... Runescape. Silence, you. I'll attempt a recipe for disaster chocolate truffles coated in hazelnut and if I'm buggered enough, will be double dipped in dark chocolate for the hard outer shell (Also only if I can find the appropriate dipping chocolate because obviously I'm not tempering it myself, takde chocolate thermometer).

For a nigh 23 year old, I still don't have a bank account so I'll be opening one, finally, this Monday morning. Wish me speed because banks are as drawly as dinners with my mother's parents -- until they start blaming each other about something which is pretty funny.

Back on course though, my suggestion for birthday nomnoms, not all will be featured on that day... Ni, you guys pilih je yang mana nak:
Roast something - chicken? beef? lamb? celebrity or person of power?
Mash potatoes
Antipasto - I haven't quite figured out which yet but it's all vege based.
Nasi goreng
Ayam goreng bibik style
Banoffee Pie
Cheesecake
Tiramisu

Can't think of anything else... cheerio, then.

You wanna know how much I love presents?

Lecturer LOVED my Cafe idea... I am all happy smiley all around. What's left is report editing and 3DS Max bathroom. Oh malasens.

Besides, I'm pretty sure my darling groupmates aren't finished writing the paper yet. Don't expect Rome to be built in a day and all...

That said, I do quick work of a lot of things.

Add on:
- Most of the time I want so hard to have had a better teacher for art because artists like KidNotorious makes me jealous.
- The rest of the time I would like me to stop wasting time on the interfart and read or work on my drawings cos they suck shit and I have a tonne of books to get through before I kickings ze bukkitz.
