Today we're curating what I think are the best Gintama OSTs.

I've never been into Anime OSTs but the ones done for Gintama is really, really good! They're some very evocative, emotive and dynamic. It might just be why this show is addictive -- Also the gags are obviously 4th wall. We like it muchly.

All music is composed by Audio Highs and produced by Kamagata Eiichi. The Anime belongs to Hideaki Sorachi.

Audio Highs did good. So good.

We start with this... Sort of menacing-what-shappening-omg music
Gintama OST: 25 - Taigi wo Tousu Mae ni Manaa wo Touse Manaa wo

Man with an action plan, for sure. The kind of plan that may or may not involve explosions before winning.
Gintama OST: 27 - Temee Raa! Butta Kiru

Adventure time background music with a walking and doing stuff montage.
Gintama OST 2: 06 - Tabemono no Suki Kirai Ooi Nin

I think the majority of this song happens when it's a Madao arc. For a useless old man he has a pretty cool song.
Gintama OST 2: 31 - Jinsei wa Belt Conveyor no You

That snare emphasis though.
Gintama OST2: 35 - Ttaku Shikata nee naa, Ikuze!!

More thrash but this one sounds like you're chasing after something you've lost. There's a deep sense of panic in the notes.
Gintama OST 5: Kokujoutou No Ransen

More intense fight music
Gintama OST 5: 20 - Rokudenashi Futari

A lot of the 5th OST set is super intense. I had to refrain from posting them all here.
Gintama OST 5: 9 - Kono Kuni No Shokeu Nin

This one is mildly middle eastern
Gintama OST 5: 5 - Itoshisa To Setsunasa To Otokorashita To Onnarashita

Gamelan inspired
Gintama OST 5: 4 - Dekobokko Kyou

And the piece de resistance... This smug AF song is my ringtone. hahahahahaha
Gintama OST 5: 1 - Hazakasinagara Kaette Mairimashita

Okay dah.

Probably. :P
I've decided that the ASUS will be bought in KL and brought here with my sister because Kecik is not sufficiently broken yet. Also, I'm going to try and get a job at the Uni library for the extra monies.

Today, while I sat in front of the computer and was multitasking, I had thought up a quote which fell into my twitter feed as soon as it flowed off my fingers. I had said "Let genres not be the specifics and the extent of your listening pleasure." because I have found that musical taste is only defined by one who listens to many things and have found love nestled in only the most beautifully constructed pieces.

I went again to check out Ella Fitzgerald scatting and found Jane Monheit! Her voice is like butter!

I do enjoy beautiful music.

And, please mute it and put on your own music.
Fractal animations, I am in awe.

Saturday, December 03, 2011

I'm back in KL and waiting to go to my friend's engagement this afternoon. Also I'm hungry and feeling extremely lazy.

Gotta wrap the present... Gotta wrap ALL the presents, even the ones for Christmas!

Was playing almost everywhere in Melbourne. It's a pretty song though.

Seriously, it's been on play for an hour already. Dengar sampai muak.

Lets call her Edward Cullen from the Toilet Twilight series.

I beheaded Edward Cullen.

and

for your listening pleasure :D

Oh, and by the way, buka-ing puasa with a glass of sirap bandung is something that one must stay away from. Me tummy still feels erghhh...

Also, because it's random info day:
My left boob is bigger than my right. Everyone has lopsided boobs unless they're fakeys.

Epica... is Epic-AAAAAAAAAAA!!!

I think if I counted how many times I've listened (and enjoyed and sang with and...) to this song the day wouldn't end.

Oh, and I wish all who are fasting a good month.
Also, just because it's a holy month doesn't mean that you changing your habits to be more righteous or holy make you less of a hypocrite. In fact, changing habits for a month makes you weak and pathetic.

Gooooood morning!

I feel like I'm in love today but with no one and nothing in particular. Who knows why I'm afflicted with such feelings. It's a gorgeous Monday morning, I was up since 7:30AM and I'm in good spirits!
What strange course this be.
Apparently, I am supposed the harbinger of good will and charity today with respect to my time, shoulder that would be cried upon or just spreading awesomeness.

Continuing work from yesterday. I am adamant on finishing at least another typograhical image by tonight.

Today's tune is by Dave Matthews and the Blue Man Group

Did you know that the Blue Man Group is actually more than four people and they have a Blue Man Camp which makes me think of Clown Training Academies.
The tube drums are awesome.
(Also, it was a toss-up between this and that Moto Moto song... hhehehehehehe)

P/S Yves Huts is a sexy sexy beast of a man.
HAHAHAHAHAH...
No, he actually looks like
almost all the time
Bassists FTW!
*drools*

Uploaded for a friend to see that my 3D still sucks. ehee...

Two days, one L'occitane perfume, 6 pairs of bras, 8 books and some random assignment bits since two days ago -- har har -- ... There is no conclusion to that line. Well, none that I can think of anyway.

Things to do for the weekend:
- Sleep and wake up at noon
- Watch The Inglorious Basterds, I love Tarantino =D
- CS2, ready to be printed
- Office, as much as possible... Would love to be done by the weekend over but is nigh impossible.
- PD2, transfer everything to autocad and get it printed out on A3 sheets... About 4 pieces...

Goddamn Poncyprincypoo.

Watching Battlestar Galactica because I'm a dork. XD

P/S
I found the name of one of some of the most overused songs in movies, like, EVER.

"Sous le dôme épais"
When pretty things start to bloom and grow and shit like that...

"Ride of the Valkyries from Die Walküre"
Man.......

"O Fortuna from Carmina Burana"

"Hungarian Rhapsody"
The one from Tom and Jerry where Jerry bashes the crap out of a very talented Tom

"Also Spake Zarathustra"
daaaaaaa... daaaaaaaaaa... DA DAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! dun dun dun dun dun dun dun...

Aaaaaaaaaand finally, who could forget Palcelbel's Canon In D.
Bastards!

26, Maduro and Distance and Comfort by Ben Kenney.

That's 3 albums :D

He. Is. GOOD!

Tuesday, October 13, 2009

Until I get sick of it, this is my morning jive tune. hahaha

hahaha...
You're such a silly woman, put the lime in the coconut and drink em all up...
wooooooo-oooooo... hahahahahhaha

Add-on:
I will be VERY VERY VERY VERY depressed if this cock-up of a 'disability' stops me from diving... SO depressed I might just stay holed up in my room forever and not want to see the light of day.

And another thing, most doctors don't know jack shit about anything.

Props to Amir*cough*PANSY*cough* for being so awesome with the imparting of knowledge.

This is for the dirty politicians running around in their panties in Parliament.

You think that you're dumb. I think you're smart. No, wait, I lied. I think you're dumb.

What is it about really strange dreams??

On one hand, it's brilliant like Stanley Kubrick.

On the other hand, it's waking up with insane WTFWTFWTFWTF?!

A brief summary of last night's episode:
- Driving
- Two small girls with me in car
- Flood
- Car sinking
- Girls and I escape but stranded on treetops, and itt's really high
- Moving from the top of jungles all the way to safe ground
- Finding a 'tribe' of stupid men who don't understand the meaning of "two-children-are-stuck-in-trees-we-must-help"
- Being topless and not caring
- Being angry and trying to injure stupid men with ball-crush-of-death
- Must be fake balls because male did not even flinch. Giggled even.
- Left in a huff
- Hitchiking
- parents living in a different house and again not caring that "two-children-are-stuck-in-trees-we-must-help"
- rain, again.
- don't remember at what point I stopped being topless
- at the back of Sri Inai Senior school hall
- baju kurung
- male classmates from gradeschool whom I haven't seen for YEAAAAAAAARS
- Wan's house
- Pretending to leave when actually you're just going to walk around the house because you don't find some people worth your time anymore
- Soirees
- Great grand uncles and aunties
- Snubbing selected individuals

And then I don't remember/woke up.
Let me put a few things in perspective:
  • I love rain. It's one of those things that bring me comfort. The harder the rain becomes the happier I feel.
  • I hate taking walks.
  • Being topless scares me half to death.
  • Ball-crush-of-death will always make boys cry.
Kepelikan teramat sangat!
Perhaps I need to learn to lucid dream?

brainfart:
I like Jason Boyd and Audiovent.
'stoo bad they broke up in 2004.

This bender is blamed on Wilson because he loves Rihanna and that song she did with T.I. and I dislike her intensely. Also, push comes to shove I would really prefer listening to Haiducci's original one... So I'm gonna be like The Bloodhound Gang and butcher the song. I need a drummer.

Dragonstae din gay?

Skirt memo'd me saying she's making an awesome mix-tape for her and she wants me to give her a song to remember me with everytime she listened to it so me being me I compiled a list of songs with the criterias below:
  1. happy and bouncy
  2. I must suka sangat sangat the song
  3. it must be good for car rides -- cos you know how some songs are not good for the car rides...
So here are the songs I picked out and had to weed through:
  1. Wheezer - Island In The Sun
  2. The Who - Boris The Spider (Too strange to talk about spiders)
  3. Free - It's Alright
  4. Sir Mixalot - Baby Got Back (Hahahaha... tidaaaaaaak!)
  5. Queen - Don't Stop Me Now
  6. David Bowie - Queen Bitch (Is cool, yo... but tragic...)
  7. Cake - Short Skirt, Long Jacket (Kind of slow, kind of...)
  8. Joan Jett - Let's Do It (Not in the car... hahahahaha)
That leaves three.
I'll get Skirt to pick.

It's apparent I love my old music? Hells yeaaaa

cause for joy

You'd know how I feel if in the middle of the month you'd run out of money with no way to get anymore. Damned because you have to not go out for any reason whatsoever aside from going for classes because you can't afford to buy even a maggi goreng. You crack your head thinking you've spent but 2 ringgit of your allowance when suddenly you feel like taking a peek at your money box. Lo and behold... MONEY YAY~! LOTS OF IT! ahahah

I forgot Ihad any money left after buying markers the other day. Sedih kan?

Coffee anyone?

Now THAT is why I got into Metal in the first place! COOOKIEEEE!!!

Post xam bloggage

And since I’ve not blogged for 2+ weeks, here’s a date recap of what happened with me and my bodily functions and maybe some other less important time-consuming stuff…

18th April 2008 – stuffs gotten

I received a gift from sayang Akerzz. He remembers my affinity to Jhonen Vazquez (which he had introduced in the first place). Now I have a mind numbing comic to read post-exam, yay~!

19th April 2008 – Nothing happened today.

I had a sandwich for dinner.

20th April 2008 - Not getting my ‘fox’ on.

It seems as though these few days leave me in a lurch of want, wants that are of the male variety. I wholeheartedly blame my genetic imperative for causing all of these wants to be present. I deny my genetic imperative living only with the thought of self preservation and that of others. My genetic imperative is similar to many human beings. My genetic imperative pokes fun at the movies Species I to IV. My genetic imperative mocks my subculture. My genetic imperative is generic. My genetic imperative is making me a horn-dog.

Buuuuuuuut… as with all genetic imperatives, it shall have to be ignored for the greater good and all that is holy *chookecoughchokebarf*.

21st April 2008 – Nothing happened today too

SING FOR BOREDOM! HAPPY EARTH DAY TOMORROW?
I should stop computing then.

22nd April 2008 – bulatan crops

Ever wondered about crop circles and who or what made them?
Ever thought that it might mean something?

Fig. 1.1

Maybe the crop circle shown in figure 1.1 means ‘[bleep] you’ in alien and they’re all messing with us.

Fig. 1.2

Maybe figure 1.2 means ‘I am an Idiot’?

Also, it’s funny how many people have crop circle drawn on themselves as tattoos…
Imagine if you will…

“Hi mom, I like blasmerphlarg.”

Don’t ask me what ‘blasmerphlarg’ is.

23rd April 2008 - If you could put together a dream team of 10 bands to perform for you and friends, who would they be?

I took this off Na’s blorg.

No, I wasn’t sniggering at your Hansons thing, I was making funny khh noise because umm… my nose was umm… itchy. Yes, it was itchy so I had to khh and then khh again many times. Thus making the sound “khh khh khh khh…”

System Of A Down
HIATUS? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Incubus
pre Light Grenades cos the last album didn’t drum my heart-strings

Queen
Fat bottom girls is my theme song. XD

Static X
Just so that he can sing ‘I’m with Stupid’

G3
w/ Eric Johnson, Steve Vai and Joe Satriani

The Cat Empire
how can you NOT like these Melby natives?

Seven Collar T-Shirt
satu-satunya Malaysian band that I’m proud of

Alexisonfire

Bob Marley
aaaaaai shot deh sherrehff, baht ai deed not shoot deh depooty. Oh, noh noooooh!

Camille
ku suka this French lady so much!

The Crusaders
best instrumental jazz EVARRR!!!

Approved!

24th April 2008 – Moozakk

Nina Tuds brought me YUNA to sample. She’s really good for a (and I’m running on an assumption here) hipster indie wannabe. Her compositions and tone reminds me of a mixture of Frente and Suzanne Vega and maybe Camille without the frivolity of any of Camille’s gorgeous pieces. Though admittedly, Yuna’s songs become stale after a few listens. They become quite generic but I’m still excited to be exposed to her. Yay for Malaysians. *smirks*

Yes, she’s a hijabi.

25th April 2008 – Ty! Ty! I have preposition for you!

How would you like to join me in a cooperative illustration of a short story called “You” that I am in the process of completing? It also depends if you ada masa ke tak lah, otherwise I cari orang lain. :P

26th April 2008 – she wants me to BREED?!

MaternalUnit (after finding unmentionables in my bathroom):
NOW, HOW ARE YOU GOING TO GET MARRIED IF YOU CONTINUE TO BEHAVE LIKE THIS?!?!?! *continue to meleter*

Me (in my head because saying it out-loud will mean me ending up as someone’s next meal):
Tannah kawin pun… tch.
*Rolls eyes*

Segway:
I’m being paranoid about the webcam. Someone may be hacking into it OH NOES!!! So, I googled the web to see if it was possible and yes, it is possible.
Hackers can do anytheeeeeeeeeeng.
But itu pun, I’m just being paranoid considering the on switch on the webcam suddenly comes on when I’m not using it.
O_o;;
Holy shiatsu massage, Batman!

I’m so the paranoid. *smirks*

27th April 2008 – meet-up plans.

Gonna be meeting up with the girls from Cempaka, edibles at Ma Maison but the date has yet to be confirmed.

Post xam and Mabel’s bornday.
I miss my Cempaka lot. Honest! I do not lie about such things!

Ode-in-photos to Cem-fuck-er College…

Attn: Scan old SSIJKL photos for insertion into the interwebs and stuff.

Things most frequently heard under the age of 12:
“Aku sekeh ‘palo mung,”
-MaternalUnit when I do something the bodo-
28th April 2008 – band

Silversun Pickups…

… That is all.

29th April 2008 – beards are sexy

[Alexisonfire]

[Dallas Green off Alexisonfire]

Upon that thought. I started laughing because aside from the totally yummy beards and glasses I saw Mr. T and that Harry Potter guy in all their unkempt glory.

[Hagrid from Harry Potter]

[I Pity Da Fool...]

And some interesting webbies for you to kill time with:

Subway Crush/
You Talk Wrong
How fast do you Type?

29th April 2008 – all smiles

A friend of mine sent me a song and the title was my name. Tak kisah-lah spelling macam mana cos everywhere pun spelling lain… tch… but the point is: It made me smile because I felt loved. When someone thinks of you enough to say hi or send a song it says that you’re loved doesn’t it?

So here I am sitting in my room beaming from head to toe. I need to study but have lost all focus at the moment, instead, beaming at the fact that some people do think of me and that I am loved.

This was brought to you by the wonderful world of emoemoemo~!

Also, I’m not one for gila slow songs right but can you see my ego inflating???
Can ya? Woooooo. It’s HUUUUUUUUUGE!

For realsy though, the song is dedicated to all women.

30th April 2008 – tak kawin punya…

You know why I will never settle? (NEVARR!!)
It’s because I hate the concept of the fair-skinned but I also sometimes dislike the appearance of most of the tanner skinned.
*shrugs*
Whatever it is lah. Tak kisah pun.

1st May 2008 – OMGFTWBBQSQUIRRELNUTS!

FIIIIIIIVE MOAR DAYSSSSSSS!!!

2nd May 2008 – lovessss!!!

AKMAL HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY BABE!!!!!
Missing you loads here, tch… Not really.
XD
Have fun in Perth.
Xx

3rd May 2008 – diddle

Hey diddle diddle the cat and the fiddle the cow jumped over the moon, the little dog barked to see such fun and the dish ran away with the spoon.

Considering that people use the word ‘diddle’ to mean the sexytime what does that song sound like to you now?

Hey DIDDLE DIDDLE << *breathes in* The CAT and the FIDDLE <<>

4th May 2008 – aiya…

Seven Collar T-Shirt’s Summary.

Insert: How come there’s no lyrics databank for SCTS? Babi.

5th May 2008 – fuh…

Uno day + some hours left…

6th May 2008 – tomorrow… I LOVE YA!

Finally, it cometh.

Camille’s Au Port because I’m a poncy prat.

-end-

I hope you guys enjoyed 2 weeks worth of non-blogging bloggage! What? You’re telling me I shouldn’t have? You’re aflutter with delight? For serious? No, here, have a bagel.

Actually, some of the stuff I filled in either a day early or 3 days late. XD
